In 2022, Members of the Ethiopian community in Birmingham Uk (ECB), came together to establish roots in the Westmidland region .

Since most immigrants experienced language and cultural difficulties when trying to access services, ECB helped them in their search for employment, housing, medical treatment, and advice .

Because of its focus on the local community, ECB also served as a medium through which locals could lend mutual aid to one another.

Those who had been in the area (Westmidlands) longer and were more familiar with the system donated their time at ECB to help those who had just arrived.

Contributions from volunteers were and still are vital to the success of ECB.

The group celebrates Ethiopian holidays as a way to maintain ties to its heritage and remember its place in the world.

The Ethiopian Community In Birmingham (ECB) became a CIC (Community Interest Company) in 2022.

There will be consistent participation from members to expand as a Charity organizations .
